Unlimited Love welcomes the return of long term guitarist John Frusciante who has re-joined for the first time since 2009. Since returning to the band Frusciante has contributed a new yet familiar life that shines through on the leading single Black Summer, followed by the funkadelia that is Poster Child. There is a real sense of painting by numbers and absolutely loving it from the band as they rediscover what made them such a special talent in the first place. Pretty much everything you’d expect and want from a Red Hot Chili Peppers record. It finds the band in one of their most creative periods. A seriously exciting time for RHCP fans and somewhat of a victory lap for this line up of the band.
